Two-Factor Authentication
Two-Factor Authentication Launches April 1, 2025
Your account security continues to be a top priority for us, which is why we’re pleased to announce that we are enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for Online Banking and Mobile App access. 2FA provides an additional layer of protection against unauthorized access, helping ensure your account remains secure.
How Does It Work?
Starting April 1, 2025 you will be prompted to send a security code when accessing online/mobile banking from an unregistered device. This security code will be sent to the cell phone number that we have on file for you. Once the code is entered, you will automatically be forwarded to your online/mobile banking. The entire process only takes seconds! It’s that easy!
-
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is an additional layer of security that helps protect your account by requiring two different types of verification before granting access. It typically involves something you know (like a password) and something you have (like a unique code).
-
Two-Factor Authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account, significantly reducing the risk of unauthorized access. It helps protect your personal and financial information, making it more difficult for hackers or unauthorized individuals to gain access to your account.
-
With Two-Factor Authentication, when you log in to your online/mobile banking account from an unregistered device, you will be prompted to enter a verification code. This verification code is sent to your mobile device via text message to the cell phone number on file with the credit union. By requiring this additional step, even if someone has your password, they won’t be able to access your account without secondary verification.
-
Yes, to ensure the highest level of account security, Two-Factor Authentication will be mandatory for all members.
-
The transition to Two-Factor Authentication does not require any action, however, it is best that you assure we have valid contact information for your account. You update your account information by submitting the form below. One of our Member Service Representatives will contact you to verify the requested updates.
